12  Success with Mirror! in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Ravishing Jane on: January 27, 2009 09:43:01 AM
So, I had been playing around with acrylic mirror and wasn't coming up with a lot of successful projects.  I think I figured it out though.  Here is some of the finished stuff that turned out nicely.

An "anti-valentines" piece.  Cut and engraved. This is on the large side.  3".

Engraved.  Also on the large side.

Large and stunning... And posted earlier in red.

These 4 were all made custom for a friend.

13  Mirrored Clouds Attempt in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Ravishing Jane on: January 23, 2009 11:07:16 AM
I created this piece in mirrored acrylic.  It's very pretty, but didn't cut perfectly for me.  I'm still figuring out the whole mirror process when cutting.  I'm thinking I should make the line work thicker too... what do you think?

17  Experimenting with acrylic and lasers in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Ravishing Jane on: October 27, 2008 01:24:28 PM
I've been experimenting making jewelry from acrylic lately.  Here is my favorite piece so far.  It is a very large necklace, but oh so fun to wear.

18  Yikkity Yak Pirate Attack!!! in Halloween Costumes by Ravishing Jane on: November 02, 2006 03:50:16 PM
Pirates seem to be the big thing this year.  I actually knitted this dress for my daughter for daily wear, but it seemed appropriate for her first halloween also.   It's the Anouk pattern from Knitty.

19  Copyright hat in Knitting: Completed Projects by Ravishing Jane on: October 20, 2006 04:33:58 AM
I thought it would be a good idea to copyright my baby; this hat is what became of that idea.   I usually put it on her with the "c" more to the side than the center.  She moved it before this photo.

20  Fun baby room in Interior Decorating: Completed Projects by Ravishing Jane on: October 18, 2006 03:33:08 AM
I painted this room in preparation for our new arrival last fall (I should have posted a long time ago).  It is a very bright and fun room.  My daughter loves to look at the designs on her walls when she's being changed.  It took me a couple of months to get it all done, so I'm really happy she likes it.

I don't really know what else to say other than it is very very hard to paint a room when you're carrying around 20, or so, extra pounds.
