1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Seashell bag.. on: March 26, 2007 03:28:57 PM
Yup. Inspired by the seaside.

It consists of 2 large pockets and a small, zippered pouch for change (or small seashells  Smiley)

I love how the colours are captured in this pic..

Comments appreciated  Smiley
2  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Valentine's Day / Re: Knit Your Own Boyfriend on: January 25, 2007 03:57:40 PM
Awww. I love your little ginger guy, he's awesome!
I can see how you took time over him; he's perfect.
Mine was more, "Agh, no time! Must knit!"
To attach the hair I just pulled a strand of wool through a stitch and tied a knot; making 2 strands of hair. And once I thought there was enough, he got a tidy-up haircut. However, this was highly boring (and at around 3am on Valentines day) so he doesn't exactly have a full head of hair...

Oh, and thank you to the everybody for compliments!

I think this year I'll have to be knitting my own self. The boy keeps complaining that little him has no one to play with.  Sad
3  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Valentine's Day / Re: present for tree hugger boyfriend? on: January 15, 2007 03:45:05 PM
Lol, I agree with bat girl.
The very first thing I thought of when reading the title was a tree he can actually hug!

EDIT:: Whoa this post is smiley-tastic!!! Hehe Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Oopsie, I must be the mystery sender.  Embarrassed
I've only ever been in one swap before, and it was an anonymous swap. Perhaps I'm too used to being a mystery, lol. Everyone I've received from wrote a nice little note, wish I'd done that too.  Embarrassed

Well I've received from suzeeannie, 2711 and the noodle princess so far, and thank u guys so much! They're great playlists!

Only thing is that I have to live off of my camera-phone for the moment being. So if theres picture-taking to be done I'd appreciate it if someone else could do the honers!

thank y'all, x
5  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Nightmare-ish Forest Creatures on: August 19, 2006 12:48:26 AM
Thanks!

Umm, I actually have no idea what kindof fabric it is, but it used to be a tablecloth if that helps!

And yes, I painted onto it with acrylic paint, then done the whole sewing together thing, filled them with beans and fabric scraps, then finnished them off by sewing on the hearts and tails.

7  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Nightmare-ish Forest Creatures on: August 18, 2006 05:21:37 PM
Umm, really not much to say.
I'm not particularly skilled in the toy making department. But, hmm, pictures!

The wildcat's name is Miguel. And his two bunny-shaped sidekicks are Filipe and Jesse-bell. (wow, I made those names up on the spot)

Annnd the bunnies have "fluffy" tails.

Thanks for looking  Grin
8  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / My Geee-tar on: August 18, 2006 05:15:23 PM
Well, decided to fix up this old guitar. If I remember correctly; mother got it at a boot sale for 2!

Very simple. Pink + Black spray paint. Then glitter nail polish, not particularly healthy for the wellbeing of a guitar but, psh.

9  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: The very picture-heavy but possibly worth it embroglio of rock n' roll purses. on: May 31, 2006 05:53:10 PM
Wow.

I got to the second bag and thought, "That has to be the coolest bag I've ever seen."
But I proved myself wrong by lookin at the rest of the post.

I really like the handcuff idea.

Luv 'um.  Smiley
