1  Seashell bag.. in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Spoongirl on: March 26, 2007 03:28:57 PM
Yup. Inspired by the seaside.

It consists of 2 large pockets and a small, zippered pouch for change (or small seashells  Smiley)

I love how the colours are captured in this pic..

Comments appreciated  Smiley

2  Nightmare-ish Forest Creatures in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by Spoongirl on: August 18, 2006 05:21:37 PM
Umm, really not much to say.
I'm not particularly skilled in the toy making department. But, hmm, pictures!

The wildcat's name is Miguel. And his two bunny-shaped sidekicks are Filipe and Jesse-bell. (wow, I made those names up on the spot)

Annnd the bunnies have "fluffy" tails.

Thanks for looking  Grin

3  My Geee-tar in Completed Projects by Spoongirl on: August 18, 2006 05:15:23 PM
Well, decided to fix up this old guitar. If I remember correctly; mother got it at a boot sale for 2!

Very simple. Pink + Black spray paint. Then glitter nail polish, not particularly healthy for the wellbeing of a guitar but, psh.

4  Knit Your Own Boyfriend in Valentine's Day by Spoongirl on: February 17, 2006 04:45:16 PM

My Valentines take on the Knit Your Own Rockstar from SnB nation.
Not too shabby as I gave myself 6 days to make it, INCLUDING buying the Book, supplies and learning how to knit in the round.
Actually, I'm pretty damn proud of myself even if no one else is very impressed.
Bravo, Emma. Bravo.

5  Simple Wallet in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Spoongirl on: January 29, 2006 08:41:38 AM
Lo.
For some reason I bought a pack of miscellaneous band patches. I wasn't particularly fond of the bands the patches were of...so I sewed them together and made a wallet out of them.

The wallet closed.

A little square of velcro is used to fasten.

Open.

As you can see it's VERY simple. Alright for cards and notes, but I wouldn't trust coins.

Lastly, the outside.

Please tell me what you think.  Smiley

I used the skully intarsia from snb and was gonna knit a tote bag-type-thing.

But now i really cant be bothered knitting another side for it, so is there anything else i can use it for, any embellishments, any ideas??
I don't mind knitting a little but my patience is...not much.

10  Bad attempt at a capri-sun bag. in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Spoongirl on: October 05, 2005 03:27:43 PM
Ok, i tried my hand at the capri-sun thing.

I need to try this out again. Do have at least 20 empty cartons sitting in and around my room...(i'm addicted)

i'm just not too sure about what to do with the handles. In that one they are just electrical tape folded in half, and I'm not sure how reliable that is.
Anyone got any better handle techniques??
