["Let's Do the iTunes Shuffle!" TWO Mixed CDs Swap]

Swap name: "Let's Do the iTunes Shuffle!"  TWO Mixed CDs Swap
Craftster member who is organizing this swap: daria
Sign-up date range: June 8 - June 22
Date to send item by: July 22

Limited to a certain number of people? (optional): Nah.

Non-U.S. participants allowed? Sure.

All ages allowed? Or 18+? Yep.

Organizer is aware of current list of "suspended traders"
list and will not allow those members to participate: Hell yeah.

Organizer meets the 4 conditions for swapping and will make sure that every participant meets these conditions: YES

Details of swap: It's simple. 

1)Open up the music player on your computer. 

2)Set it to play ALL of your songs in your library. 

3)Hit the "shuffle" or "random" command.

4)Burn the first 25 songs (or as many that will fit onto a single CD). . .NO MATTER WHAT.  NO SKIPPING SONGS *onto TWO cds* (the same playlist please).  And I repeat, you are not allowed to skip songs under any circumstances.  I don't care if four James Taylor songs pop up.  If it's in the first  25 or so, it goes on the CD. 

5)Then you decorate a nice cover for it both of the CDs and ship it off to your assigned partners.  Easy peasy, right?

The point of this swap is not the embarrass you because you listen to Mandy Moore or something. (If it makes you feel better, I have "You Light Up My Life" by Debbie Boone on my iTunes). I think it is an interesting and fun way of getting a pure random sampling of music from a fellow Craftster.  Gives some insight into what makes 'em tick.

If it shows up in the first 20, you must subject your partner in your shameful ways.

This was inspired by a meme that went around a few months ago.  I thought it would be fun.  I just participated in a CD swap and it was a blast so I want to try a CD swap of my own.

I did a search to see if there had been any previous Weezer swaps here and there hasn't been.  Sooooooo, I now ask you, dear fellow Craftster, would you be interested in taking part in a Weezer/Rivers Cuomo* swap?  I figure this would totally be an easy way of tricking somebody into making me choice handmade Weezer stuff for free a super fun way to show off our love for the Weez and crafting all at once.  Yeah, that's it.   

Anything goes: shirts, bags, knitted goodies, jewelry, wallets, whatever you can think.  As long as it's Weezer related.
