1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Stripes on: June 26, 2005 04:57:46 PM
Okay, so I'm pretty new to knitting here... Well I started at the beginning of winter but kind of stopped for the summer, and now I'm running out of stuff to do...
So I was making a scarf, I have no knitting book, I just learned from my mom, I only know the knit stitch.
Do you guys know any places where I can get a tutorial for making stripes? I've tried before but I know I was doing it wrong and it will probably fall apart.

Man, I need to go buy a stitch n' bitch book.
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Zombie Fabric Markers! on: June 26, 2005 04:48:21 PM
Okay, so this is pretty old (like a year old) but I recently joined and I figured I ought to post something because I feel bad for not participating.

Now, I love zombies. My boyfriend loves zombies. I made him a fabric marker zombie shirt!

I used... FabricMate, I beleive? You can gett hem at Micheal's. I freehanded the zombie on, and I'm still impressed wiht ymself that I didn't mess up. Some colour ran, but I covered it up with a DecoFabric white marker (decofabric is super gloopy and opaque).
Unfortunately I only have a crappy and partially cut off picture of it coloured in.
