And you should probably add the lines, mouth, eyes, etc. before sewing it into a cone.

I made this felt onion plushie for my friend because we have an inside joke about onions.



Everyone I show it to thinks its a garlic. haha..I guess it does look like one..so tell me the truth..does it look more like a garlic than an onion? It's about a good size for a pincushion but my friend doesn't sew so I guess it will just be a normal plushie.

I made my first wristlet/clutch out of felt! It has a felt mushroom on it!



It may look a little flimsy because there's nothing in it there^



But Here^ it has some things in it.

And here's a closeup of the mushroom:



It's not lined and all handsewn. Enjoy!

Well there are snap buttons like this that you sew on:

or you could use velcro as mentioned above.

I made this as a gift for my grandparents who just got a new digital camera.  It's lined with orange felt and has snap buttons.  It's all handsewn because I don't have a machine.  And I know I didn't properly hem that top part and the snaps are kind of off center but its my first real sewing project besides throw pillows.



And there^ it's being modeled by a tape measure because I don't have another camera to model it. And sorry for the huge pictures..I haven't figured out how to resize them yet.
