11  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Did I mention I'm a dinosaur? on: June 14, 2006 12:27:26 PM
I have turned myself into a dinosaur for Drama Club banquet. All hail. Actually, banquet was in May. I'm just trying to catch up on posting projects I never posted from the last year....yea.

So here it is! Made without a pattern, for I am so awesome and cheap. You really have to love the walmart $1/2 a yard sales. The fabric is good every once in a while.

Ok, so the entire outfit is comprised of a headband, dino-shoezies, the inital dress and the added-on tail.

12  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / T-shirt Fronts on: July 17, 2005 05:38:06 AM
I can't wear certain shirts anymore, be it I've just grown bigger or that I've spilled some substance on it.

But I really like what is on them and I haven't the heart to throw them away.

Any ideas for what I could do with them?
13  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Totoro shirt, first try at stenciling. on: July 03, 2005 06:57:43 AM
Stencil from stecilry+Black and brown mixed paint+Red shirt=An awesome Totoro shirt

Once I saw the stencil, I knew I had to make a shirt. Totoro was the first anime I ever saw. :B

Yay. ^_^

Edit: If you use sewing needles to pin down the 'islands', it's pretty easy to paint if you remember to just keep goin up and down with the sponge brush.
