51  Re: AUSSIE/ NZ XMAS CARD WITH small suprise SWAP gallery in The Swap Gallery by jane feebles on: December 30, 2005 04:20:34 PM
Hi hi

Jane Doe has received my package, and cyndiq said to post pics of what I sent, so here 'tis:

I sent a hanging card, some buttons and postcards like I sent the rest of my group (btw, do any of you like those sock postcards?  I nearly wet myself when I found them  Smiley) and a bracelet made out of coloured dice
Here's a close-up of the bracelet:
The dice beads were actually on hairbands at crazy clarks, they were so cool I bought all the packs they had!  The tassle is made out of the elastics.  I made myself a necklace out of the rest of the dice, so purty
Sorry I pre-posted on you Jane Doe, but I'd love to see an action shot of the bracelet  Grin

52  Were you naughty or nice this year? in Winter Holidays by jane feebles on: December 23, 2005 06:10:45 PM
My niece needed a santa sack, so I knocked this up yesterday.  The 'naughty' and 'nice' tags are attached with velcro so you can change them around  Grin

(hello my toe!)
This is a bad photo of the velcro

Miss 6 isn't too sure about being able to switch between nice girl and naughty girl, but the rest of us think it's hilarious  Grin Grin Grin

I got my last package today from Jane Doe!  Another stellar surprise of course.
I got a really cool b&w card and a felted sushi bracelet (yum)
Here's the bracelet on
Honestly now Jane, have we ever met, because I have a sushi print dress and futomaki hat, and the bracelet matches perfectly Smiley Smiley
I luuurve it!  I'm wearing it now, but I must admit the felt is a bit itchy in Brisbane's 36 degrees  Wink
That's the end for me folks, I've received all my packages.  Still waiting for Jane Doe to get her package from me though.....

Still waiting for everyone actually, everything's so great!

3 for 3!  I got another parcel today from twelvety
It had a pink crocheted star I'm going to starch and put on the tree, a really cool little book with dice stitched on the front, some hilarious 70's knitting books and THE FUNNIEST CARD OF ALL TIME

Here's the little dice book, with blank pages for sketches to fit in my bag with cyndiq's coin purse
And here he is, the hottest, funkiest music man of all time.  I'm calling him Steve

Hi Cyndiq I got your surprise yesterday!
A lovely winterscene card, a star lace ornament, a butterfly lavender sniffy thing and a mega cute tiki purse
Here's a close-up of the purse
I love the purse Cyndiq, I'd already filled it with stuff and had to fish it out of my bag to take the photo!!
Thanks so much to both you and qazicat for making a real effort to make things that feed my tiki obsession, I'm really touched.
2 packages in 2 days, let's see what this arvo's mailman brings!
