CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / I need the help of an experienced Craftster!

At my high school, every senior must complete a Senior Exit Action Project, or SEAP. We can choose almost any topic we want, and have to do a research paper, product, and exhibition of our project throughout the course of the year. I want to do mine on unconventional and/or recycled fashion. Every project must include an interview with a mentor experienced in the area of study. I'd like to ask for any Craftster over the age of 21 (SEAP requirements ) to contact me at fusionflute09@yahoo.com if they're interested in helping me. The interview can take place through email. Thanks a bunch! -Alex

While I should have been working on AP US History homework today, I chose to make pretty things instead. Who needs history, anyways? The first one is silver colored chain with a black/white resin pendant I bought. I was concentrating and trying really hard to actually get a shot of my neck instead of my chin, since I didn't use the help of a mirror to see the viewscreen. This next one is an amazing stone pendant from Blue Moon beads, with the same type of chain as above. I thought to use a mirror this time, so my neck doesn't look all strange from me having a hard time Comments are appreciated!

CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / "God loves you (and I'm trying)" shirt

I purchased the original t-shirt last summer at a church camp I went to with my youth group. I don't have a picture of the original, but think of a size Large unisex t-shirt. On a 5' 3" girl. Doesn't work so well. SO! I sewed up the sides and sleeves, not bothering to remove the sleeves and do them that way. Too much work for me. A few months after that, I decided to cut the neckline out so I could make a sleeveless shirt put over it look like it had sleeves (I think for school, but who knows). Tonight, I realized I hardly ever wore the shirt, because the cut neckline was a bit uneven and it bothered me. So I cut the neckline even further, and added the little strap-thingies (sewn by hand, not worth it to go downstairs to the machine). On to pictures! (yup, my toilet's debut on the internet) Closer up (note: I don't know what was so amusing at the time, nor why my glasses are slightly skewed. Also, I just realized why I don't like pictures of people, especially myself: they always resemble zombies. Or the vacant stares of barbie dolls.) Comments appreciated
