2  Lego Mirror in Completed Projects by jusiestyle on: May 20, 2014 02:42:15 PM

Hi Everyone!
Hope you are having a great day. We are Jusie (Julia & Susie). We are both moms and have been spending some time making craft things that are great for kids. Both our kids have are really into LEGO at the moment, so we had this fun idea of upcycling an old mirror and turning it into a LEGO mirror. The beauty is that you only actually stick down a few bits of LEGO round the outside and then you can build it up with characters as you please. And you can obviously always change those around.
We've made a "how to" tutorial and posted the link below. Hope you enjoy it!!

3  Baby Hand prints made with Baking Soda Clay in Completed Projects by jusiestyle on: May 20, 2014 11:43:47 AM
Hi Everyone!
Hope you are having a wonderful day. We are Jusie (Julia & Susie). We are both moms and have been spending some time doing kid related arts and crafts.
We recently made some white clay (baking soda clay) to use for hand prints. It worked out really well and was much smoother than salt dough. The kids also really enjoyed doing it. Just wish we had done it when they were even younger.

Anyway, all you need is
1 Cup of baking soda
1/2 Cup of cornflour
3/4 Cup of Water
1 teaspoon of vegetable oil.

We decorated ours with acrylic paint, which worked really well.

4  DIY Memo Board / Notice Board in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by jusiestyle on: May 20, 2014 06:42:38 AM
We loved making this canvas notice board. It was really easy to make. You can get the canvas at Amazon and then  essentially just need some paint and ribbon. Really brightens up a room and is perfect to keep littles notes organized.
