21  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / charm-ing bracelets =D on: April 13, 2008 06:46:11 PM
I made these up during the weekend
theyre pretty simple

Theyre a bit dark since I couldnt get a detailed shot with the flash

This one is probably my favorite.. although I made it too small for my wrist argh  Angry

My mom says this one looks almost like candy but it strikes me as being more caterpillery

Thanks for looking!
comments and critique is always welcome =]

24  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / first time coin pouches on: March 30, 2008 01:36:22 PM

I have LOADS of fabric I need to use up and I thought this might be a good way to do it..
except it was SO hard lol
I must be tutorially illiterate or something but I eventually figured it out
I used http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=22875.0 and kind of winged it

The polka dot one has the interior interfacing the wrong way on one side
and both have wonky zippers
I also think Im going to try and embellish them
The polka dot one is probably going to get a hot pink bow =]

comments, criticism and advice are extremely welcome!

25  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / dino applique on my hoodie! on: March 24, 2008 01:07:05 PM
I didnt MAKE the hoodie but I didnt recon it exactly either so Im not sure if it goes here..
It was just a balck hoodie that I put a red felt dino onto
I hand sewed it with blue embroidery thread which will explain for the wonky stitching

28  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Lucky!!!! on: March 13, 2008 07:01:33 PM
I have a four year old brother in pre-school and his teacher asked all the kids to wear green for St. Patrick's Day
He didnt really have anything green so I whipped up this shirt for him.
Its not an ideal photo but the two shamrocks on the side are still a bit wet
and theres a four leaf clover up top

NOW WITH ACTION SHOT!!!!!

30  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / turquoise anklet on: March 12, 2008 04:35:25 PM

So every summer I make an anklet.. usually I use hemp but this year I went with puka shell beads
and I know its not summer but I couldnt resist and I figured maybe it would make it come sooner...
one could only hope..
Its super simple but I love it all the same
