So Ive finally gotten around to uploading photos of the awesome package I got from ysmeine [sorry its taken a little longer than needed]

Teas:

THE BAG! Its based off of something on my Wist but its so much more amazing than I could have imagined. THIS bag actually plays music! Theres a little pocket for my iPod and ysmeine built speakers into the design. And I love the fabric so much.

A beautiful green and copper necklace

handmade papers

a travel mug and cozy with a little wooden whisk. It has an interchangable lining so I had taken it out to design my own.

A little pouch in the most wonderful shade of purple

And this beautiful notecard made with real flowers. This is definitely going to be put into a frame and hung up. I love her hair.

not pictured is a copy of Sweeny Todd and some tea she sent but it was already in the kitchen  Smiley
and a honey spoon that likewise was in the sink lol

thank you so much for inviting me to the swap it was a lovely experience  Smiley

5  Martha meets Monika in Recipes and Cooking Tips by KidWithKemikals on: July 21, 2009 12:04:43 PM
I used Martha Stewart's recipe for crepes and added on a Polish twist from traditional naleśniki.

The filling is just farmers cheese with honey and  a little milk to create the smooth consistency and grated in a little lemon zest for flavour. The garnish is candied lemon [I watch too much of The F Word] and something green from the garden. Of course somehow all of my mint disappeared.

6  Parselmouth & Dark Mark tattoo in Stenciling: Completed Projects by KidWithKemikals on: July 14, 2009 06:15:05 PM
So I had my shirt planned out but ended up making this one too

It looks all psychedelic because my camera's flash would not go off and I have shakey hands. Im sure you know what I mean. Its done in silver paint and on the back its a silvery green lightning bolt with the date up near the neck of the shirt

The DM is on tattoo paper I got at Michaels which Im not that fond of. It isnt anything like I thought itd be but itll suffice for the night

Several things Ive become aware of after seeing Tom Felton:
1. He is GORGEOUS!
2. I dislike large crowds of people [mostly girls]
3. I can wait patiently alone in large crowds of people
4. Tom Felton has a killer accent!

So I waited for 3 hours to get an autograph from Tom and it was so effing worth it because as I got to the table he said "I like your ensemble. Supporting Slytherin colours I see."
To which I replied, "Yes, thank you." And then he told me he hopes I like the movie but he said that to everyone.
Then I ran out of Hot Topic screaming like a little girl only to run into a security guard inside Dunkin Donuts who asked me how long I stood in line. When I told him he shook his head and I said "yeah but at least I didnt have to get here at noon"

I didnt stay for the Q&A though..

I cant believe I didnt think so do this before now!

10  For Fred... Love in a Can in Stenciling: Completed Projects by KidWithKemikals on: July 01, 2009 04:44:16 PM
Fred happens to be a guy who works at my post office. Last year while mailing my package for my first swap he told me my shirt was cool. Naturally, I said "I made it." which I had. And of course he wanted one too. I told him he could have one and just never got around to it. With school starting I didnt do any more swaps so I didnt need to visit the post office. But since summer started up again Ive been going and on more than one occasion he has called me out, in front of a crowd, about the shirt. So I've done it. Now Fred can shut up.  Smiley I call it 'Love in a Can' I'm not crazy about the spray line but oh well.
