1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Navy Super Bulky hat on: March 27, 2015 09:47:25 PM
It's pretty soft actually!  Since it's super bulky it has more structure to it than a worsted weight hat, but it's dreamy to wear.  It worked wonders on the days it was so cold your face hurt just stepping outside. Thanks everyone!  Cheesy  I will totally make more and put them up on my Facebook Page if I can find the yarn again.

I thought I would kick off Fall with a Navy beanie.  The yarn is made out of old jeans, or so the packaging said lol.  It's a super bulky weight, so this thing should be blizzard worthy!

4  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Orange is the new black swap on: July 30, 2014 10:06:53 PM
I have to be in on this one!  I am working on season 1 for the 3rd time, and have watched season 2 once.  I am still obsessed with it.  My favorite characters are Vause, Nichols, and Taystee, and Rosa.  Actually, scratch that, I like them all, even Tucky. Chocolate and Vanilla, swirl swirl. Tongue

I'm new to the site, but I'm an avid knitter, and an intermediate crocheter.  This sounds fun!

8  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Craftalongs / Re: NEWBIE CRAFTALONG on: July 25, 2014 06:20:27 PM
Thanks, I am glad you guys like them!  On the hat, i just made a smaller version of the cowl, and shaped it off using decreases, no formal pattern.  I'm not surprised there is one floating around though!  I really want to check out 14 hats knitalong.  In fact, I may go lurking.  Cheesy

Hello!  I am pretty new here, and finally stopped lurking long enough to get to ten posts.  I am glad there's a place for newbies to put their stuff, since there are tons and tons of boards here.  I get sucked into the pictures every time I log on.  Anyway, here are a few of my most recent projects!
