Some friends and I have just started up an online webzine

as its non-profit our overheads are very low but sponsos/advertisers would eman that we have money to spend on advertising and generally improving the site.

has anyone got any tips on how to get people to advertise and how much to charge?

I'm planning on buying a small christmas tree and decoratiing it for my two cats so they dont feel left out or upset when they are not allowed to maul the big full size people tree.

any ideas would be appreciated?

the trees going to be store bought so thinking of decorations etc

has anyone got any 1960's recipes/ or have a clue about what food they served then?

i need the info for a mrder mystery party i'm hosting because i dont like the food on their suggested menu.

My neighbours peg basket blew over our wall and i 'swapped' some of her cool dolly pegs with our boring old normal clothes pegs.

what can i do with them though?

Has anyone got any pictures of peg dolls or worry dolls made of clothes pegs?

this is a really simple yet effective idea:

I had a real problem with my cat kicking litter all over my floor so my bf made me this:



its a kitty toilet/wardrobe holder.

the box gives them pleanty of room to dig, they get their privacy and theres no mess or litter trailed across the floor.

I'm planning to decorate the wooden ikea chest with cat pictures as it holds all my kitty toys.

Here’s a tutorial for an easy, peasy cat toy my kitties love.

It doesn’t matter how scruffy it looks, your cats wont care.

But remember the golden rule: however long you spend making cat toys is directly proportionate to how much they will ignore them!

You will need:

One piece orange felt (Do it double thickness if your cats are particularly rambunctious)

Green craft feathers

Orange cotton

Stuffing or cotton wool

Catnip (optional)


Method:

Take your square of orange felt and fold it in half if you want it double thick. If not cut it in half diagonally so it’s a triangle.

Fold it again and stitch along side the loose edges (not the top or you cant stuff it!) so its an empty orange cone.

Turn it inside out for a neater finish

Stuff with catnip (if wanted) and stuffing.

Sew halfway along the top then place or glue your feathers inside. Stitch all over your feathers so they can’t be torn out. Finish sewing top of cone closed
