1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Can some please help me- ink-jet shrink plastic for pendants, etc.Printer vetoed on: October 19, 2005 12:47:30 PM
I wanted to try the shrink plastic & I went to ShrinkyDink site & their info said Epson printers were not recommended for their products. I emailed them & they confirmed but did not tell me why. Could any of you recommend a brand that will work with Epson, which btw I use a compatible ink from another maker in my printer. Please respond if you know what will work in Epson.Shirnky Dink got back with me & said that they had found that Epson ink did not dry properly on the plastic  & did not lay down with the same correctness as other printers.
2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / new purse & some advice needed on: October 13, 2005 09:09:23 AM
I am so adicted to this site. I go from my sewing machine to my computer to see what's new here. I have been asked to make some purses & display them at the school where my daughter works. I have made several purse to give to friends & family, but have only sold 4. I live in a small town in TN. I know that some of the ladies in town buy boutique handbags with their high prices. I am making some bags geared to 10 or 12 year olds, I guess. I have been using some of my leftover fabrics in different combinations. The bodies of these purses are 8in tall by 10in wide. I was wondering if $12 to $14 would be a good price or am I way off base pricewise. Any comments would be appreciated. On this one the girls are on the front & there is a different fabric on back. The other bags will not be this fabric but will be graphic.
