2  OPPORTUNITIES FOR CRAFTERS / Opportunities: Seeking Crafters who Sell their Work / Looking for handmade craft, artwork pieces for central Kansas store! on: April 12, 2014 10:52:07 AM
I am recruiting CRAFT MAKERS and ARTISTS or ANTIQUE item vendors who wish to sell your products and works inside a 12,000-foot location in downtown Herington, Kan. We are opening April 25, just before our third annual Throttle Jockeys Car Club car show.  This year, the car show is being held in our downtown area, so it will draw many state and regional visitors.

We are Prairie Chic Handcrafts & Antiques, which is owned by a Texas couple who has background in the antique, handcrafted unique items industry there. We are looking to offer Kansas and Midwest handcrafted, repurposed or art work to Antique Pickers who travel to Herington from the larger region. Herington, Kan., is located just off U.S. 77 and U.S. 56 in central Kansas.

Rates in the store start at $10 a week, depending on the size of the booth. I've already started marketing the story heavily online and even with a news release across the state. We will also be posting to Etsy and on our own website, once it's up and running.

For more information about the store, please visit www.prairiechickansas.blogspot.com or www.facebook.com/prairiechickansas .

See photos in our gallery for a preview glimpse of our new store!
