1  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Discussion and Questions / Poses/Models Online on: August 01, 2005 01:44:54 PM
Does anyone know a website where I can get good, free, and  tasteful poses of people online? I tried google and that was just a hot mess. In particular I need a buff(er) guy slightly turned to the side with an arm up carrying a bag (or coat or anything) over his shoulder. Its suppose to be a picture of a pirate holding his booty hand on hip for my school's rival week..we're the Raiders so pirates and our mascot is a Tiger so it'll be a tiger-pirate. Nudes are okay as well, I just need some help soon.

Thanks
2  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Willy Wonka! on: July 31, 2005 11:52:22 AM
I think it would be great if someone hosted a Willy Wonka/Charlie and the Chocolate factory swap! There could be chocolates candy, weird doo dads, oomploompas or somthing. Especially if you intergreated the old and new movie together. Just a thought
3  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Doll-ish Costume ? on: July 03, 2005 03:58:33 PM
This halloween I would like to be a doll, a evil scary doll of course. I have a short plaid skirt which I'm going to add lace to the bottom to and wear my knee high goth boots with black and white striped thigh high socks. The only thing I need help with is a top and accesories. Suggestions?
4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Jean Pants Waistband on: July 03, 2005 03:33:22 PM
>> Promblem in italics

I had a pair of jeans that I absolutely loved, but sadly the holes in the buttocks area became a bit too
indecent. This is when I noticed I had also gained a few pounds and the jeans had shrunk some. Promptly I started to cut up the jeans to re vamp them, first to capris so that they were no longer highwaters. Simple. Soon after I glued (sewing wouldnt work too well) a piece of purple cloth covering black lace where the 6inch hole was. Then came the hard part, I cut the seams to make them a bit baggy and added white cloth with the lace. Realizing after I had sewn it,  that the waist band (like where the belt goes) was still the same size and therefore a bit small without a thought I cut it. Now I don't know how to add a spacing that would still be stiff and would actually work. I have no clue. Please think of the color sceeming and stuff too.  Help help help!  Huh
5  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / CeramicGlazed Mug Decorating on: June 17, 2005 11:28:05 AM
does anyone know of a way to decorate a mug that I bought. It has already been glazed (pink on the outside and green interior) and I'm afraid if I try something it might mess up when it is washed or microwaved. I was thinking of putting an image on it using clear finger nail polish or painting something on it.If you have a suggestion on how to go about applying anything on it I would be most greatful.  Kiss
