1  FIBER ARTS / Dyeing: Discussion and Questions / Re: Acid dye stock storage? on: April 02, 2014 01:05:13 PM
I know no one has replied to this in a month and I'm a noob around here, but a great solution would be the containers that acrylic paints are stored in, I wish I had an exact name, but I'm sure you could buy them from somewhere. I buy food coloring in those bottles already and I haven't had a leak or mess happen with them.

3  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Introduce Yourself / Greetings from the North! on: April 02, 2014 12:50:09 PM
Hello craftster! Currently listed as "lurker", I'm enjoying looking at everyone's stuff! I've been coming here as a guest for the last two months (that's when I started crafting up some weird things) and I've always found it helpful to get back on track! I especially viewed the posts on dying when I had a whim to dye my own wool roving, cause that's right, I have discovered the fibre arts!

More about me... Hmmm. I'm 28, a mom of two little ones and my art went on hiatus to focus on dirty diapers and trying to get some sleep. I am usually an illustrator, that is, until I found polymer clay, and one thing led to another and I was bringing my fantasy hybrids to life! As well as some more "normal" types of animals, and animal beings are all I do in anything.

I hope that wasn't a Great Wall of text, because it looks that way while typing from a tiny screen. I hope to get a smile out of all the wonderful things everyone creates on here, and maybe make a few smiles myself. I hope everyone is staying warm, because winter just doesn't want to end up here in the Canadian wilderness.
