I really like how you lightened the wood in the process. It's very nice next to the blue fabric.

Ooh, those are so pretty! Cheesy

I'm just about to do the same to a blue sweater of mine, and you inspired me.

Originally I was just going to sew them up with the seams inside of them, but figured they would be annoying - didn't think of a way to avoid that, though.

But your beatiful mittens just showed me this better way to sew them up.
And that will even add some life to the consistent blue colour of the sweater.

Thanks for posting!  Smiley

I'm sorry I am so late - I've just now seen this thread.

That afghan is SO beatiful! Shocked

I would just love to have one like that.

I hope they are enjoying it very much!

Thanks for posting - you're giving me plenty of good ideas...  Cheesy

Hejsa  Smiley

Hi - a dane is joining you Smiley

I think it would be great with a nordic countries board. Both when it comes to brand-names and knit/crochet-terms. Haven't quite got the hang of it yet but still struggling - even with the danish terms.

What can I say  - absolute beginner  Roll Eyes

I live in Copenhagen, am writing my last paper at uni. Hence, not a lot time to craft at the moment but comes january comes plenty of valuable time. Ooh, I can't hardly wait.

So count me in!

That's so cute! I hope your friend apreciates it.

It reminds me of my childhood. My father (!) made alot of these hooking rugs for both wall and floor and he even made some pillows. They are completely worn out by now, because they are just too cozy. Uhmm...

AUTUMN!

The best time of the year. Your wreath reminds me of autumn - can't wait till the lovely colours are here again. Cheesy

I too think it is perfect just the way it is. The red and the green go so well together that anything else would be 'disturbing'.

I love feet  Cheesy

After all they go with me everywhere.
