41  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / A TASTE OF SOMETHING GREAT!! on: June 22, 2005 01:09:20 AM
Okay, I can't say enough about how much I LUV these patterns!!  I found this website shortly after discovering sublime and I signed up immediately!!  But, now I can't seem to find much more on those same lines.  I'm really interested in embroidery, but I'm about to order on of those cool cross stitch kits -- i think I'm getting the "bite me" one!!  I need to play some more on this site, but I've been typing in all kinds of searches and getting machine embroidery and well....the geese in the bonnets kinda stuff.  I went to the cool website with the pin up girl and the lipstick free pattern.  I found lots of goodies there...but I NEED more!!!    Cheesy It's not like I have 101+ other projects going at the same time, but I'm so inspired by sublime (i just found sublime's "link" page...OMG) All of you guys and gals are so imspiring and makes my creative fire spark up again.....sometimes feel stiffled in this city.  Happy creating happy people!! Grin
42  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / Re: Stop, THIEF!! Help me!! on: June 21, 2005 10:05:28 AM
I just got my patterns in the mail and reading this post makes me really mad!! Angry  I guess I can believe that it would happen, but I woulld like to think that people are better than stealing.  I'm so sorry that this happened to you and I hope that since this post was made....some good has come of this mess.  I truly hope that things have worked out and I will keep my eyes peeled.
On a better note....i've been a walking advertisement for you!!  I have used your awesome patterns and am working my ways with my Mom to get her to carry some of your patterns in her quilting/needlepoint/cross stitch - a bit of everything shop in TX.  She owns The Piecemaker in Beaumont, TX   --  I hope she bites!!  I LUV THEM!!!

44  NEEDLEWORK / Sublime Stitching Embroidery / Re: stiching on a plane without a scissors? on: June 21, 2005 09:50:38 AM
i saw that someone posted about the round blade pendant thingie from clover.  there are 2 sizes and it can hang like a necklace...is bronze...i think..and has- well, hidden little blades.  the 2 sizes are the thickness of thread it will cut.  clover advertizes it as being airplane safe and permissable.  good luck...if you need help locating one i can set you up.  my mom owns a quilting/needlepoint store and i can hook u up!
happy creating!
