what a creative concept -
this would make a really awesome swap/tour - pass around thing.
Someone could start the book and it could make the rounds and I be the end would be a definite treasure!!!
I love journaling & will have to try this idea!!!

WOW!
I think your journaling is awesome!!  I like the finger painting too!
I also like what looks like the use of a typewriter...not sure, but it kinda looks that way!
I need to start taking some pics of some of my pages and posting.
keep creating!!

We have these giant rolls of paper towels at work on some of my breaks I whip out one that I have folded up in my purse and go to town.  I'm sure some of you might see a great deal of Teesha Moore's influence in my doodles.
I think her art rocks!!!
If you haven't ever checked her out you MUST:

I need to get some swaps under my belt so when I find a swap I really like I can take part.  I'm a newbie as far as swaps go.  I love what you all have done on the first tour!!
I thought I was in heaven when I found Sublime Stitching!! My Mom has a fabric/cross stitch/needlepoint/thread shop in Texas, but it's not really my kind of goodies.  I couldn't really explain it to my Mom until I came across this site and Sublime....
I showed her and was so excited I placed and order right away!!
It was like I needed someone to point me in the right direction and give me that inspirational spark!!
LOVE THIS SITE & can't wait to see you guys and gals pics of the tour 2!!!

Hey Happy people!!!
I am considering relocating to Corpus Chrisit, TX or maybe Ingleside, tx and I was wondering if any of you live there?
Do you know of any places that I MUST see - like fabric stores, thrift shops??  Are there any other groups beside the local quilt guilds - I might be interested in that, but I also like to find people with more contemporary taste and WAY open minds.  You know, into the the not-so-perfect, the DIY, the indie, the fun!!
I would love to find some people that love to sew, crochet, knit...etc, for fun!!
Let me know if you are interested or know where I can go!!
Thanks so much!!!
