4  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / Re: How do I make fabric placemats if,.... on: October 19, 2005 12:47:02 PM
Hmm,....can you laminate fabric?  I didn't know that.  Also, the Stitch Wichery thing,...w/ that, is that just stitching the edges or what exactly does that do?  Forgive me my DUMB QUESTIONS, but I am really new at this. Also, laminating aside, how can I give this fabric the WEIGHT that most placemats have? To make them not so thin, because it is a thin cotton fabric, but the print is GORGEOUS!?!?
5  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / How do I make fabric placemats if,.... on: October 19, 2005 06:48:02 AM
I don't sew?  I cannot sew to save my life, but I found some really cool fabric that I want to use to make placemats as a gift (my brother & his wife just bought their first home and I know that his wife will LOVE this fabric).  Can anyone give me a simple tutorial on how to do NO-SEW placemats?  I did a search, but nothing vame up on how to do do fabric placemats w/o sewing (most were laminating things like cards, etc.)  I need to do this before THIS FRIDAY (YIKES! Shocked Shocked)  Somebody?  Anybody?  Thanks. Wink Smiley

I'd say VERY PURDY INDEED!  How did you make the beads "float"?  And are those jump rings or are those wire circles?

LOVE LOVE  LOVE the earrings!  I haven't a CLUE as to how much to sell them for, but I'd say at least $5/6 a pair? If I didn't already know how to make them,.... Wink I'd buy them. Smiley
