Here is mine; I am using it as a bag for my crochet projects. Ever since I read this thread, this idea has been knocking around in my brain. Glad I finally got to try it.

I posted all of the pics in a separate thread on the Purse Recon board. Sleeves are great! I also made a pouch for my hooks and a small purse for my daughter out of those.

My sewing skills are rudimentary, and I did this by hand, so I hid the spots where I sewed on the handles. I'm thinking of adding little iron-ons to these.

I love this pattern! Here is the one I am working on:



It's made with one strand of pink acrylic and one strand of variegated fuzzy yarn. Both are the $1 Target yarn, so I have to wait until my friend mails me a couple more balls of the fuzzy stuff, then I can finish the last 2 rows.

Although I have mainly posted in the crochet forum, it was actually the paper crafts forum that got me interested in Craftster. Here are some of the projects I was inspired to do based on various posts here. Thanks for the inspiration!!!

For these 2 crocheted projects, I used one strand of pink acrylic with one strand of multi-colored mohair. This stuff is totally unforgiving. I crochet fairly tightly and forget about frogging at all. I also had trouble finding the beginning of the yarn on one ball and had to cut off a big tangle to start. Otherwise I like the result with the 2 strands together.


This scarf is simply single crochet worked in the back loop.


This is the Caron yarns free ruffle scarf pattern (adjusted for different gauge). It's not finished yet - I think I have 2 rows left. Looks kind of like a tape worm!

The scarves look small because they are for my 2 and 6 yr. olds.

I'm a little late in the game here, but only recently picked up some of this yarn. My local Target was out, but another one had it. All of the boucle was unfortunately gone, but I picked up some acrylic and fun fur (the mohair-ish stuff). I have never used fun fur before, so this was an experience.

Here is my first attempt at a crocheted toy, something I definitely want to do more of. I made this Totoro (he's the medium-sized one) for the Miyazaki swap. He's based on a Forest Friends animal pattern.

This is what I whipped up in the end using scrap cardboard, wrapping paper, tissue paper and ribbon. It contained school supplies and stickers.

Here is a cloche hat I made for my daughter. I winged the size from the Lion Brand pattern and used flower patterns from Crocheting in Plain English. The top came out a bit pointy    but otherwise I'm happy with it.
