1  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Crafts for babies and kids on: February 21, 2014 11:10:06 AM
Hey friends!

My name is Danielle Montalvo, I'm a craft addict, and owner of one pretty awesome company called Alphae Toys. Alphae Toys is a handmade, eco-friendly toy company for special needs children. I'm trying to find other crafty people/small businesses to sell their goods through my company. We want to grow, but stay close to our roots. That means selling online, to other small companies, and selling products that are only by small businesses.

So, what's the catch you ask? Nothing, I've never been good at sports anyway. I post the pictures on the site, as they sell I send the money to you minus 10%, you ship it out, everyone is happy. Products will also be placed in our seasonal catalog, but not in our wholesale catalog. If one of the boutiques we work with sees your product and wants to purchase from you at a wholesale price we will gladly send them your direction.

Why are you doing this? Well, I started this company quite a few years and it's starting to become more business and less creating. I've been feeling pressure to consistently put out toys all the time and it sucks, which means a lot of my ideas and patience are starting to suck as well (unfortunate for my staff). I'm trying to expand the company and make it easier for me to pace myself with my toys and make it more enjoyable again.

So what are you looking for? Anything baby or kid related, also i'd love more things for older children. I try to stay away from plastic (since we are ecofriendly) but I do not object to up cycled items that use plastic. So far, some of the small businesses we are beginning to work with are selling tents, handmade clay jewelry, art, dolls, doll accessories, knit items, just to name a few.

So what do I do? Submit pictures, your company name, or if you have one, a link to your shop so we can check it out. You can either reply here, or send it to d.montalvo@alphaetoys.com

Here's my credentials so you can stalk me so you know i'm not full of it.
