salvation army and dumpsters always have interesting old books/magazines/newspapers/etc..hmmm..when i'm there too i also look for cloth or sheets/blankets with interesting patterns and texture to cut up ..i also sent info to alot of art schools just to get the books and mags they send, they always have awesome artsy photos and lettering in them. i agree with daydreamer135769 that i find stuff everywhere and anywhere, i like to go for walks and see what i can find on the sidewalks or along the street. oh and i routinely go by local interior designer's offices and home decorating places and ask if they have any outdated wallpaper and fabric swatch books that i could take off their hands, a lot of times i end up with a grocercy cart full..
ummm..wow, i fell incredibly awkward...i was only late sending because i was told to wait until after your partner received from you and it set off my plans on when i was going to be able to send..i'm sorry that you're so upset, but i put a lot of hard work and time into your package and even put in extra stuff because i felt bad after you got upset before. so it would be nice if you could quit being so rude and trying to push off blame onto me. if you have an issue with your feedback then send a message to the organizer rather than making everyone else on here feel uncomfortable..
I DIDN'T FLAKE, i sent out saturday night so everyone in group two should be receiving from me any day now.
i modified my response because i was being irrational and rude. i'm sorry to anyone who read what i said, especially lusterbunny. it's just been a really, really indescribably bad few months for me, and i got upset about the whole being called a flaker thing, i may have been late, but i'm not that kind of person. i wouldn't have signed up for the swaps i'm currently in if i had known that i was going to be having so many problems here lately. i'm sorry for over reacting.
