Well, since I used your kind tutorial to make my purse for Carina, in the GREEN PURSE SWAP, I thought I'd show the pictures as a "THANK YOU" !!  Wink

I know it has a flap, it was to make the bag like one she loved, but the base was from this TUT Smiley

and the inside!
I kinda distracted myself and placed the lining in the wrong way... but I think I fixed it pretty well, bending and sewing the edges all around... Wink

THANK YOU JORDY!  Grin

I'm so happy that Carina got her purse and loved it!!  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

since I took some pictures (i always take pics of everything I make... even cooking stuff!  Grin) here are some more pics of it so you can better see it:

Front view

kind of a side view...

here's the inside (pretty plain and simple... Wink )

And this is the Star on the corner, the structure was made of thin wire and 1 bead on each point, then sewed on the flap and filled with those pink beads. And to make it a little diferent, some turquise and pink beads spread over the whole flap!  Grin

It was made to try and look like 1 she said she was "drewling over", and she said it was jus like it!! (the shape! Cause no decent BIG polka dot fabrics were found aroud here..  Embarrassed ) YAY!!  Grin

Keep showing those pictures!! Everybody's bags are turning out beautifull!!  Cheesy

StrangeGirl your clutch is soooo adorable!  Roll Eyes
And shiitake's bag is so simple with that tree... lovely!

The little change purse I made to match

BTW-the pocket insert is removable and I added a hard bottom to it so it could hold all of Kumari's Medical Textbooks.
WWWWooooWWW girlwonder!! Shocked You were "all nervous" about that??? You were definitly out of the reality lady!  Cheesy If you were nervous about something like this, with a removable pocket insert and a hard bottom thinking of other uses for the bag, what should I be abou the simple bag I sent Carina??? oh God...  Embarrassed

It's the cutest thing!!! For me I'd use it almost everyday for school if I had that much clothing to match green!  Cheesy

Ohhh! Post them! Post them!! I can't wait to see what everybody did/get!
I'm kinda always clicking Show new replies to your posts hoping for somebody to have posted some more here...

Me too! I've become obsessive about it though, like, I check it all the time, even like at 4 in the morning when I KNOW that everyone is asleep and no one is posting...  Roll Eyes

AHAHAHHAAH, that's me too!!  Cheesy Today I got up at 8 o'clock in the morning here in Portugal, and I went straight from the bed to the computer to see if anyone posted pictures!! Only then I thought "You're crazy... back in the USA anda lot of places it's like 3 in the morning! NO ONE WOULD BE POSTING !"...! Oh well... 1st Swap...  Roll Eyes eheheh
