1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / chemo caps and a pirate pig on: February 12, 2006 02:40:50 PM
So, I haven't posted much on here but I thought I'd post these! I started making a pink chemo cap last week for charity and stopped making it until last night due to lack of time. But I finished it! Then I had nothing else to do so I went and made the blue one! I like the blue one better because it seems to fit better, I think. The pink one is big compared to the blue one, but different people have different sized heads so it'll work out for someone! I used the same pattern (http://www.bevscountrycottage.com/adult-cancercaps.html), but I never seem to get the pattern right the first time Tongue

and just for kicks, a pig i made off of a pattern on here! (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=30488.0)...yup, his name is wilbur...he's the coolest pirate pig in the world! lol

2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / pant leg, pearls, and a neck tie...oh my! on: July 18, 2005 05:37:32 PM
This is what happens when I get bored and put off summer reading! lol...It's made from part of a pant leg I found in my sewing box from when I tried to make a skirt out of jeans 4 years ago...it's all hand sewn ('cause I don't own a sewing machine), except for the sides (since it was kinda already sewn lol)...the tie is from Goodwill and the pearls are from my mom's necklace that she got at a yard sale and she never wore it so she gave it to me lol (kinda sad to cut it 'cause i liked it but i needed the pearls! haha)...enjoy!

3  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / oh, for the love of yarn (a scarf) on: July 10, 2005 04:45:47 PM
Hi everyone! This is my first post on here sooo...yeah...hi! Anyway...I knitted this scarf, and it's really basic and all but I love the yarn so I thought I'd post lol...it's pretty long, and I wish I had made it longer but oh well! It's super warm and soft so that makes up for it lol

Yeah umm this was taken in my closet...please disregard the mascara stain on the floor...thank you..haha

yay! close up!

Yes, it's certainly not much, but did i mention that I love this yarn?Huh lol
