1  Valentine Themed Balls in Felting: Completed Projects by KensWoolBalls on: January 23, 2014 03:12:24 PM
I thought these ball designs would be fun for valentines day.. Kind of retro.. Not my best work but I'm still happy with them

2  Re: Pictures of craft fair setup - Please post! in Tips for Participating in Craft Fairs by KensWoolBalls on: January 18, 2014 03:28:24 AM
Here's our booth setup for the Winters Indoors Farmers Market in Rutland Vermont. We allocated 7' x 7' foot space and also have the advantage with this market we don't have full break down the booth. We just need to remove the valuable items just incase someone decides to be bad.

So we built a U shape booth to maximize the amount of counter space. This will also use to be better able to mingle with customers, sometimes it gets a little crowded but at point we move somewhat into the Aisle.

WOW.. I ordered the Bump on Thursday after 5pm and I had a 30Lb bump at my door today.. of course, it was "local" Boston to Vermont..

I have a heavy duty "Lazy Susan" that I going to use to unwinding the wool when needed...

<Evil Voice> Now, what to do with all of this wool!</Evil Voice>   Grin

5  My Tackie Twerking Bear Ball in Felting: Completed Projects by KensWoolBalls on: January 10, 2014 07:10:22 PM
Here's my take the on the Bear that was on Miley's Twerking outfit.. so Tackie..

I started with a round wool ball built up the ears then put the design on. I needle felted a base on the ball so it would stand up.. Then welt felted by hand.. I figure if I did the wet felting in the washing machine the ears would get pounded down.. Probably still needs another welt felting..

Let me know what you think as I'm fairly new to Felting and still working out my method to this madness..  Roll Eyes
