13  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: for you dancers out there: OLD POINTE SHOES! on: March 01, 2006 05:25:17 PM
I have a friend who is a dancer, we went on an arts camp together in high school. For a camp art project, my friends boyfriend painted some amazing things on the shoes. Like black and white chequers and flames at the back of them and all sorts of crazy things, the shoes didn't match, they just went well together with contrasting patterns or they were the complete opposite done in similar colours. They were very popular and everyone wanted an old pair of my friends pointe shoes after seeing the work he did.

I think if you did something like that and hung them up it would be pretty cool.
14  CITY GUIDES FOR CRAFTSTERS / AUSTRALIA / Looking for Consignees! on: February 22, 2006 08:10:19 PM
Hey Everyone,

I am really interested in finding a few more consignees for the SixOneSix Boutique. (http://www.sixonesix.com.au)

Especially clothing, paper goods, and bags. Though if you have anything else from another category you want considered for consignment, by all means, send me an application.

You can send me an email at info<at>sixonesix.com.au if you are interested or have any questions.

Thanks!  Smiley

Rockdale is neat, but it's slowly going downhill from the week it opened it's doors. Soon, it will be like all the other Spotlights I have come across, plain messy.

I don't know what sort of price range this store is in and whether my stuff fits, but I'm keen to give it a shot.
