So I love the Domo character, but like many other craftsters, I refuse to pay an obscene amount of money for my very own. Plus, the ones you can buy are always small, and I wanted something to cuddle!

I didn't use a pattern, just a box I used to trace the sides. I used fleece I bought for less than $5, and some white vinyl scraps for the teeth, and some black plastic buttons for the eyes, and stuffing I already had. So all in all, this was a nice cheap alternative to buying one!

Hi all! So here is my latest endeavor in polymer, after putting it away for awhile. GNOMES! I'm very happy with the way these turned out, and I plan on making more. Let me know what you think!

This is done in prismacolor markers and acrylic paint on illustration board. It was for my 2D Design class. We were supposed to use cubism as kind of a basis for our compositions. I really like the way mine turned out--let me know what you think!

So here are the egg shells I covered with polymer. These are one of my very favorite things to create, and I really hope you like them! A few of them have seed beads inside them to make them egg shakers. I used to use one for a vocal jazz group I was a part of.






I also covered the backs of some mirrors, as inspired by another craftster post I've seen on here (sorry I can't remember the name!)

This is a painting I did recently. I really like how it came out. It's 9x12 acrylic on canvas board



The purple ribbon stands for creativity, independence, wisdom, dignity, and power.
The green ribbon represents growth, harmony, safety, and peace.
The red ribbon has a double meaning. The lighter side stands for energy, strength, determination, desire, and love. The darker side represents anger, vigor, willpower, rage, courage, wrath, and longing

So in my drawing class we've been working with the technique Chiaroscuro (which means dramatic lighting) and I decided to use this technique on my own.

This is done off of a photograph of myself, and done with charcoals on 11x15 bristol paper:
