1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: need Loom knitted baby hat help! on: March 15, 2015 06:56:18 PM
A baby hat is usually about 14-15" around, though a loom can be a little larger. There's a loom knitting group on ravelry who can offer a lot of help - http://www.ravelry.com/groups/loom-knitters
If you're not a member yet, it might be an idea.

Sweet! thanks!! im still new to Ravelry and dont really know all the ins and outs of that website yet. Thanks for the information Smiley
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / need Loom knitted baby hat help! on: February 28, 2015 02:08:08 PM
Hi guys!! I hope this is the right place for this question. Anywho...

I got asked to knit a hat for his 2 month old son. I normally make my hats on the knifty knitter, which normally is fine but I cant seem to find what size loom i should be using. Ive looked on multiple websites and blogs, but they all are telling me different sizes. What size have you guys used before for baby hats?

Thanks in advance!!!
3  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Havent been on here in awhile, but I've been knitting like crazy! on: February 24, 2015 10:57:59 PM
I had a craft show that i was vending at. I had about 17 beanies and around 10 scarves.

These hats were only a portion of what I had. Most of those beanies, I had made specifically for the craft fair. Smiley

This was an experiment and I ended up making a drink cozy. thought it was cute...

4  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Yet another hat for a friend. love this yarn! on: November 13, 2014 11:41:32 PM
Just like the title says. This was for a friend and old coworker of mine. He originally wanted a self striping purple to black yarn. Surprisingly its hard to find! I did have this yarn though. I love that the colors in this hat are a bit muted.

6  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: New scarf style I am trying out on: November 07, 2014 11:26:07 AM
Very pretty Smiley I really like the pink & black one... looks so warm & cozy with a touch of funk Smiley Congrats!

The pink and black one actually has a hat to match. The beanie was also an experiment, just like this scarf. Both turned out pretty well, if i do say so myself. Smiley The friend i made this for, loved it

What a great style. I love the use of textured yarns too.

Yeah, the scarf definitely turned out better then i thought it would. I was iffy about the two yarns together when i was just holding the skeins but when i put it together I loved it. I dont even like pink Wink
