1  Kahleesi GoT halloween costume Fabric in Halloween Costumes by Ehlvee on: September 09, 2014 11:19:40 PM
So, I decided this year to get a really awesome halloween costume this year. I never get to dress up and havent really celebrated Halloween in the past 10 years or so. I decided on Kahleesi's Qarth dress from Game of Thrones..

My friend and fellow Craftster Squidget is putting it together for me. We got the fabric and sponged gold paint on it to make it look closer to the actual dress it self. We mixed metallic gold paint and gold glitter to make the gold really pop.  The fabric is a really pale blue that i got on sale. Score! Tongue Will post more pictures when i have them!

2  Gift for a friend! New to calligraphy in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by Ehlvee on: August 10, 2014 04:23:13 PM
One of my friends was diagnosed with lung cancer recently. I wanted to do something for her that wasnt super emotional (since she isnt the overly emotional type), but would give her a sense of strength when she needs it most. I found a quote online and put it on some paper made by Tibetan monks. The shell printed on the paper is the symbol for victory. The quote says " We gain strength, courage, and confidence by each experience in whice we really stop to look fear in the face. We must do that which we think we cannot".

Thanks for looking Smiley

4  Newest hat I finished for a friend! in Knitting: Completed Projects by Ehlvee on: July 13, 2014 09:44:04 PM
Finished this about an hour ago. In love with this yarn. I made a scarf for the friend out of the same yarn, so now she has a set!!!

This was the scarf i made for her awhile back.

Thanks for looking!

EDIT: Unfortunately, the coworker i made this for didnt want a slouchy beanie. She wanted a slouchy beret but didnt tell me. Put a Etsy page up for it but meh, its just sitting here.  Embarrassed

6  Old christmas presents I just finished!! in Stenciling: Completed Projects by Ehlvee on: June 23, 2014 10:53:39 AM
So I recently posted some pictures of paintings i made for both my mom and my dad. I now have my boyfriends and my brothers gifts done as well! My brother loves owls, and I was going to buy him a tattoo once he graduated highschool but I cant afford it (that and this shirt was supposed to be a christmas present last year...OOPS). He loved his shirt though! My boyfriend has always had a connection as a young boy with Link from Legend of Zelda. Hes played all of the games on every console haha. Hope you like them~~I took a picture, put it through Illustrator, printed and cut out the stencil and then painted. The top two stencils on the panels took about an hour or so to cut out. (ALSO an old christmas present...bahaha)

I know my boyfriends can be in this thread but I dont know about my brothers. I figured I am showing the painting and not the shirt its on (since its from a store). Let me know if I am wrong!!img]

Pretty easy, fun and didnt take very long! Thought I would share with you lovely people! Hope you like them!

8  New projects!! in Knitting: Completed Projects by Ehlvee on: May 05, 2014 07:47:28 PM

This hat didnt actually take me that long thank goodness! I was just messing around with different stitches and this is what happened. The colors are pretty and theres even some silver thread wound in it.  Reminds me of scales and

All of these scarves were for a craft fair i went to at my school!!  The only thing that bugs me about a couple is that the ends/sides rolled.
