5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Patchwork Purse on: December 29, 2013 10:19:33 AM
So, I was originally going to make a tote. It was a pattern from a kit I got for Christmas. But I messed that up. Luckily, I had some leftover pieces and I was able to make a smaller purse out of them! Here is the link to the picture on DeviantART! Cheesy

6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Striped Skirt on: December 29, 2013 10:15:52 AM
Hello there everyone! Cheesy I just finished my FIRST EVER piece of clothing yesterday, and I thought I'd share it all with you. Smiley I just recently got my first sewing machine, and I bought some red and white striped fabric. I thought that it would be a really cute skirt.

I made the skirt with no pattern, just because I thought it'd be easier than with the pattern I had already. And I was right! Making things with no pattern has been easier for some reason so far. I'm sure that I will use patterns, in fact I know I will, but for now, with things like this, it's safe to say, I'm doing "alright!"

Anyway, since I'm new here, it says I can't upload pictures yet, but I do have a picture of the skirt up on DeviantART, so here is the link:

Please comment, give feedback, etc! Like I said, I'm new, and I'd really appreciate some criticism! Cheesy

Thanks!
