So, I made a bracelet... Does anyone know whose lovely face this is?

scanned from my comic book. ironed onto an old teeshirt. stitched onto red leather. punched holes. hammer snaps.  { i love to hammer snaps.  (thanks amanda's dad for my anvil.)}

back in "the day" people learned how to do embroidery stitches with a funny sampler that said home is where the heart... or an apple a day...
this is my sampler-on-ribbon bracelet.

this is from an amy butler pattern, i love how it turned out...
It was pretty easy too... (i'm totally a novice sewer.  seamstress.  something...)

this spider is made out of scrappy little bits I found around my house,
(except his little boots, are made of felt that i had to buy...)
The pillow is (mostly) recontructed out of old shirts from high school,
 a napkin from my wedding, old curtains, dresses...
and one piece of amy butler fabric...

it's big and squashy... so are her cheeks...

she likes da spider...

i just joined today, I've been observing for a week...  You kids rock...
(hopefully i wont post this completely wrong)

I found a giant bag of old and ( sometimes crusty ) stamps at a thrift store.   
I knew they would make great jewelry, but it's has taken me a year to figure it out...







at last.  Success...
(and I got to learn how to solder)
