A young Queen Elizabeth.
Lovely bracelet, btw.

Thanks!  ( it's nice to have such speedy answers...)

So, I made a bracelet... Does anyone know whose lovely face this is?

I'm thinking - you don't get to be on postage unless someone knows who you are....

The starwars one is SOOOOOOOO CUTE  Cheesy ! but how did you make it?
I scanned from my comic book.  printed the cool dudes out on iron-ony paper... ironed onto an old teeshirt...  stitched the bit of t-shirt w/transfer onto a red leather band...added on some hammer on snaps... the end.

Sewcherry... they are so cute... (and far more neat and tidy than mine...  mine are "rustic."  )

i really like that. those are great little charms/pendants- i bet you could make a neat belt or bracelet from multiples.

Yeah!  I've been working on a bracelet.  Now I'm all inspired to finish it...

I love the star wars one, I'm not into SW but love the way it's been done, what material is the red backing? it looks like felt in the first pic. I know you could use anything but I curious. It looks soooo nice.

Jessica
it's red leather...   it's rather comfy too....

I love the last one, and I've had the urge to embroider *something* lately. except I've never embroidered anything before. but I do have a teeny hoop left over from when my grandma tried to get me into it, so I think that might work for a strip of ribbon that thickness......you did use a hoop, right? (once again: the last one rocks)

I love that embroidery can "ROCK"  (no hoop, just un-fancy playing with ribbons...)

i love the last one! i don't get how it was made though? Huh
those are all super cute! i don't normally wear bracelets or cuffs, but for embroidery I could make an exception.
Did you free hand your sampler motif, or did that come from a pattern?

Thanks!   Yeah... I don't really like cuffs. (on me).  I just like mine. (it's possible that i enjoy making them more than wearing them.)
and - it's just free-spirited embroidery on a large piece of grosgrain ribbon.

yes.  just buttons ala ribbon.

c3po's strategy "let the wookie win..."

scanned from my comic book. ironed onto an old teeshirt. stitched onto red leather. punched holes. hammer snaps.  { i love to hammer snaps.  (thanks amanda's dad for my anvil.)}

back in "the day" people learned how to do embroidery stitches with a funny sampler that said home is where the heart... or an apple a day...
this is my sampler-on-ribbon bracelet.
now.  you may comment.
