5  $2 shop bandanas > AUSTRALIA DAY corset style button-up top in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by lol-lol on: January 23, 2007 04:15:17 AM
Well, there's this tradition of wearing the flag in highly fashionable ways to your city's firework celebrations. So, while i canoodle with my boyf on the 26th, i will be styling it with this very trendy little number:

thanks for looking,
...and dont forget.....
i love comments!
edit: ive put a sort of mini tute somewhere in this thread.
edit#2: i used no-sew hemline tape from spotlight to keep the bottom and top hemlines in pleace (i love that stuff... it made mt ball gown all the nicer... and i diddnt have to spend hours blind stitching, which i HATE!!!)
i used about 2 and a 1/4 standard sized bandanas for this project
i will attempt a tute when i have more time on my hands.
i advise putting straps on a top like this, as its a pain in the butt to be hoiking it up all day. i know.

6  NEW PICS UP!!! wedding shoes to gothicy/sexy pumps. painting leather=ikk. in Shoes: Completed Projects by lol-lol on: January 19, 2007 01:00:04 AM
hey. well, i am finished and completed them, its just the "finished" pictures are at my mums, so i'll keep you waiting for them. i loved the shape of the side of these shoes (but didnt like the line of the shoe where the shoe is open near my toe), and theyre really good quality shoes, but i got them in an oppy for AUS$7.50... what a steal!!

so along came some cheap ribbon, sandpaper, thread, red and black acrylic paints, sharpie, gloss, and some brushes, to make them into shoes that i love, and definitly are "the sex"..... cant wait to wear them out! i of course covered the funny toe-open line...

the shoes!

the awesome scallop edging....

and the funny toe-open line...

_____________EDIT:THE FINISHED PICTURES _____________

...ps: comments make my day Grin

::::::EDIT::::::
i have recently made another pair, very similar, but they are too small for me. They fit in the op-shop, but i must have had a "small-feet" day or something, because they havnt fit me scince. They are silver/pewter in colour, and have a black bow like the red ones. the heel is the pewter/silver colour. If anyone would like to do a swap for them, I'd be deligted, just pm me and we'll sort out foot measurements/etc.

8  worry rabbit and worry doll in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by lol-lol on: November 16, 2006 09:36:24 PM
well, i really could have done with these for my exams i just finished, but i was studying instead of crafting, and boy, did it take a lot of willpower.

they fit into your palm, so you can hold and play with them when youre worried. and i need to learn blanket stith, because ive just made it look like it, but its not really. and it took twice as damn long that way, im sure of it.

worry rabbit:

and the front and back of the worry doll, of which i dont really like the eyes or the heart. oh well.

please comment, and thanks for looking.
