I started on a scarf a few months ago, and then I set it aside. Now that I went back to it, I can not remember for the life of me how I even started. I got so frustrated, I pulled out all the stitches. Can anyone give a step by step tute with pics on how exactly to get started?? Or maybe have some great link?? Thanks
Post a pic and tutorial, (if available) of your favorite crafty process or item whether it be something you made or something you found on craftster or some other site. Hopefully this can start a list of some awesome "how-tos"...
I will have to find the link later, but my favorite is the jordy purse tutorial. I have made many purses with that tut and I only have to change a few things here and there to make completely different designs. It totally taught me how to do a liner. AWESOME!
My friends and I all make jewelry and things...and we tried to make a website but we are all very computer incompetent....how do I get started?? And what are your opinions on free sites vs. sites that charge to be used??? Any and all info would be appreciated. Thanks.
Anyway, these are some prety simple earrings I made in about 5 or so minutes. Just wondering if they are any good. I like them because they are the same type of earrings but not exactly the same. Thanks for looking.
Since all I can knit is scarves, I was hoping someone out there who can knit the chicken viking hat would be willing to make that and maybe do a personal swap of sorts??? I would even be willing to just send maybe some supplies or something. I put it on my list for the wish swap, but i doubt anyone will choose it since noone has yet. Let me know via this threzd or pm. Thanks!
Things I could make would be sewn purses, knitted or crocheted scarves, beads, jewelry, candle votives, etc. Thoe kinds of things. Keeping my fingers crossed!
When I log onto my name, and I click "show new replies to posts"...i get every post i ever wrote anything on.
How can I erase the ones I am no longer interested in and just keep the newer ones
I went back to try to erase all my old posts, but is there a way I can search for my post within the thread?? There are some threads where there are over 100 pages I would have to look through to find mine...
So, I was curious as to whther or not we were "allowed" to have a private swap with someone. Like, I ask a person to make me something I dont know how to make, and I do the same for them. And if it is okay, anyone interested?? I am not too crafty persay, but I love making all kinds of stuff. I guess this would be similar to the wish list swap.
So, I want to buy a drill so I can take any little doo-dad, put a whole in it, and make it into jewelry. I have seen vise drill pens, hand crank drills, and big expensive drills. What is best for little projects but it has to go through wood and plastic and such materials??? Any thoughts would be MOST appreciated.
