Okay here's my stuff from LittleJoi,

(sorry it's blurry!) a hand painted box with western pin up girls pasted in it, a hand painted (both sides) homemade cowboy boot note pad and the best part, a hand knitted cotton tank top, gorgeous!

The top on me (with the front of the box).  Thanks LittleJoi, I love the top, there is nothing like the quality of a hanf knitted garment like this, wow!

Here's my awsome haul from sugarKane!  Sorry it took so long!

3 flannel pads with velcro to close, a CD 'music to menstruate by' with 17. hilarious songs including:
'I haven't got time for the pain' -Carley Simon
'Only Women Bleed' -Alice Cooper
'Bloody well right' -Super tramp (hee hee!)
'PMS blues'- Dolly Parton
'The Bitch is back'- Elton John and more!

A nice decorated box lined with fabric and full of herbal teas (french vanilla, yum!), a honey bear, and (I am not kidding) Microwave popcorn with a Cinnabon frosting pouch!

To the left you will see a cool journal covered in leopard corderoy and 2 pouches, one for clean pads and one lined with vinyl for dirties.

And a magnet with a vintage lady that says 'I have PMS, be afriad, be very afraid'  The inside of the box and the CD case say 'Never under estimate the power of an extremely pissed off woman'

Front of the box:

I'm posting the stuff I made for sugarkane since she's been out of town.

First, 2 flannel snap on liners with 6 pads and my new favorite invention, the overnighter!  that's the pink pad with the heart on the end (that goes toward your bum) to catch night time leaks and it works perfect (I made one for me too!)

and a sparkley felt pouch for tampons.  I don't think you can see it here but the tampon has rows of stitching to give it an authentic look!

Here's my stuff from Viciouskittie, when she posts what I made her you'll see we  were strangly on the same wave length!

A glass canister/cooike jar with old timey diner posters and cakes and cupcakes!
A double switch plate with retro fabric collage images and I have just the spot for it.

And an apron!  You'll see more of the cute images like from the switch plate (only maybe you cant see them as well)  it has a black velvet detail on the pocket and sparkley red rick rack all around.  What I like about this and the switch plate is that they feature a pressure cooker!  I use one all the time and you never see them depicted anywhere, not as popular as our frined the toaster...Thanks again viciouskittie!

6  'Cat lady' or Virgin Mary Meets Cleopatra in CHALLENGE 11 ENTRIES by grannystylee on: May 04, 2006 05:19:17 PM
First off, credit to the origional artist: J.M.W. Chrznoska.  This is a print of his/her painting that I bought for $2, it's stapled to a big piece of cardboard.  I carried it several blocks against the wind in a garbage bag to protect it from impending rain.  I'm pretty short and a few times I thought I might launch mary popins style!
So this was a great peice to begin with but it was pretty scratched up.  My first thought was to do a Virgin Mary or Mexican saint style re-vamp.  I did the halo but also gave it an art deco feel.  Lots of layers of Gesso, acrylic paint, gel pens and a spot of copper glitter glue on each pearl.  Oh and I also turned the water into wine! I'm more of a sewing person than a painter and this was a big surface. So I was challenged but I had fun, I hope you like!

Okay finally!  Here is my fab stuff from ptarmic-wumpus!  It partly took so long because there is so much!
The front of my new wallet, somesort of reverse bleaching technique.

this pointy cat doll is a little taller than my hand in the front and even better than it looks here, she did a great job.

This purse is so funny! (in the good way!)  It looks a little like a scottie here but looks more cat like in person.  It is lined with black cat patterned fabric too.

This mobile is super swanky, I love it.  (note the wooden squirrel in the background, something to keep the kittys busy).  I bet this was a lot of work.

Here is my fantastic apron.  You can't quite see the pleating and pocket detail but it is very precise and a great retro print!  Also you can see two black cat potholders with cats playing with yarn, (look familiar?)
The blue kitty note paper gives expainations and sources of the craft instructions incase i want to make some.

and inside the wallet.  Also a close up of the apron fabric and back of potholder.  Okay, I hope I was thorough enough.   The apron and potholders will get lots of use.  The purse might just be for fancy times.  Thanks again!!

8  Re: Earth Day Global Recycled Swap! in The Swap Gallery by grannystylee on: April 15, 2006 04:35:03 PM
I got my package from rangerbeth today!  Boy did I get lucky!

(I updated this and the photo's are big now whoo hoo!)

My most favorite is a re-useable sandwhich holder that velcros shut and can be washed, it has a cute little deer on it!  Also a cloth flower pin with a strawberry in the middle, 2 resin bottle caps, a barret that says 'more tree's less Bush' and the necklace says, 'buy less, live more' (love that!)

Also a recon t-shirt declaring this recycling slogan:

and it was all wrapped up in fabric for me to sew with! (see at lower right on shirt)
Plus vintagey envelopes made from old calendars that came in a box shrine with the delightfully dire message: "we're not gonna make it"

 Thanks Beth!!!

Finally here is my cool stuff from Amanelle!  Freedy was stoked!

Two denim catnip toys, one with Freedy embroidered on it, and the other has a grasshopper (when I see a hopper in the yard it usually has one back leg missing, ouch!  This one is cruelty free!)

Also a rad knitted catnip spring roll, thatnks again Amanelle!

Excuse these small pictures, I am going crazy trying to get it right!  (this happened to me once before, ahh!)
I love, love my Kramer tote from shortestkitty!  There is great detail on the inner straps and kramer pics and funny quotes on the inside and out side.  it is lined so well that it is reversable, though I like it like this.  I lauged out loud at some of the quotes like, "where are we going? A little place I like to call...you'll see"

Then, very well done, a festivus in a box kit with Frank Costanza on the lid.  There is a list of the traditions of festivus including the airing of grievences and 6 note cards so you/I can tell everyone in my family the ways they have dissapionted me this past year. it cracks me up thinking of really doing it!  so mean!  And the mini festivus pole with tinsil that just falls down, that makes me laugh too.
Thank you so much shortestkitty!!  If you have better pictures and dont mind, please post!  I will try to do better when I have more time, I just wanted to get something up!
Ohhhh!  And the Manziere coin purse!!! You can see it on the tote, lined with a zipper and elastic straps.  Inside the quotes, "Bro?  too ethnic"  "How about Manziere, a braziere for men"  the outside has manzirere on one side and Bro on the other.  It matches the tote.
