21  3 Skirts in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by ragamufyn on: June 10, 2005 05:46:48 PM
I made a skirt for a friend the other day for a party she's going to this weekend.
It's a two layer skirt made with 5 different batiked fabrics.  I used McCalls pattern #4458 if you're interested.

Here's one I made for myself using some African fabrics using the same pattern.

These are a couple pictures of a wrap skirt I made with some more African fabric.  I didn't use a pattern for this one.

22  Vintage Inspired Apron in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by ragamufyn on: June 10, 2005 05:36:23 PM
I'm always getting flour (and other food items) on my clothes so I decided I needed a couple aprons.  Plus, They're so cute!

I don't have the other one finished yet but I'll post it when (if ever) it get's done.
I used McCalls pattern #3979 and some cute light blue fabric with cherries on it and red/white gingham for the trim.

23  Old Navy Embroidered Tank in Needlework: Completed Projects by ragamufyn on: June 10, 2005 05:27:27 PM
All this crafty stuff has gotten me back into embroidery!  Here's an Old Navy tank I "upgraded" with embroidery floss and some beads and sequins.

Edited:  I spose I should mention that I don't think I'm quite finished with it.  I want to add more "glitz" to the area around and between the lotus flowers.  Not quite sure yet so I've been wearing it like this for now.
