11  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Final Fantasy & Kingdom Hearts Swap SIGNUPS*extended* 8/22-9/9 SENDOUT BY 9/ on: September 01, 2006 06:56:30 PM
Wow, I almost had a heart attack there.

I saw that the signups had been extended to the ninth, but I didn't see that you extended the sendout date as well!  God.  Six days to craft?  I think I would have ended up clawing my own eyes out.

Hehe.  Silly me, not finishing the sentence before reacting.

I'm so excited!  I have a ton of ideas, but I don't feel right planning something until I know what my partner wants.  I mean, I don't want to get my heart set on something chocobo or moogle and then get a partner who doesn't like chocobos or moogles.  But then, what are the odds of that anyway?

Wow, I wish I had had something to actually contribute here...sorry, I'm awfully tired.  Off to daydream about more Final Fantasy crafts!

Got my partner info!

Wow, this is going to be so awesome.  I think this is going to be the...funnest?  Is that a word?

It is now.  Funnest damn swap I've ever been in!

Come on...you know you wanna....

Yep, I sure do.  Just give me a couple days to get my ducks in a row (they're not wearing bonnets) and I'll try to carve out some time for this.  Cheesy

I think...I think they're supposed to loop around the legs at the upper thigh.  Think like stirrup pants, but, you know...shorter.

And then left all dangly for the "unstyled" look that Jeffrey is so very insistent upon.

As far as he goes, by the way, I was okay with him last night too, but after all, anyone would become an admirable person under those circumstances (okay, maybe not ANYONE...).  My guess is, next week he'll be going right back to that lovable, arrogant jerk we've come to know in the show already.

MICHAEL'S REACTIONS WERE HILARIOUS.  Like when Angela said, "I'm gonna put rosettes aaaaalllll over these pants," and he just fell on the table and started kicking his feet back and forth like a fish on a line.  Cheesy

By the way, I think it was a setup.  I really think the producers worked this out with (what's his name) ahead of time.  Maybe he was never supposed to be on the show, or maybe they decided that he had to go, but didn't want to waste an entire episode on it, or what.  All I know is, he didn't look convincing at all when he was apologizing to the guys, or when they were interviewing him about it.  He had no reaction when Tim was talking to him, and he almost seemed eager to go.

I dunno, it all smells fishy to me.
18  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: Jack & Sally Nightmare Before Christmas Baby Quilt on: August 01, 2006 11:35:07 PM
I. Am. Going. To. Cry.

 Cry

That is the coolest quilt I've ever, ever, ever, ever seen.  I am SO impressed, and SO inspired.  Thank you so much for sharing this!

Yes, yes, yes.  They did that a little bit last season, but they got such major props from people for mostly sticking to the design.  It's one of the reasons the show is so great.  I hope they don't veer from that too much.  Sad

And by saying "the Wendy Pepper/Santino of this season," I wasn't comparing Wendy Pepper and Santino in any way other than that they were focused on a lot because they caused so much drama.  I would NEVER compare the two in any other way.  Santino was SO SO much cooler than Wendy, and frankly I always preferred the stuff he did (crazy as it could be) to her uppity, stuffy clothes.  GOD I hated her Fashion Week line.
