I wish it were as good as some of my previous pumpkins, but my tendonitis is on overload, still I love Trick r Treat and love Sam!

I made this yesterday for my Team's entry into the Pumpkin contest at work. I hope we win because he's adorable!

I forgot to post these last year!

Here is my pumpkin from 2006, based on a vintage witch die cut!


This was my Husband's pumpkin from 2006 as well:

Supplies: Craft pumpkin, fabric glue, regular glue, moss, micro sparkles, paint, dremel or cutting knife, paintbrush, decorations!

So every year my work decorates a tree for a charity tree auction. Last year, ours was voted the best by the public! It was a POTC theme. This year, our theme is a Fairyland Tree! I am super excited because all [or most] of the decorations are hand made by a bunch of volunteers. We get time out from work for meetings and everything.

Tomorrow is the second meeting, and everyone involved was asked to bring in a "prototype" ornament. 

I made mine with premade birds nest with wire underneath, reindeer moss, fabric glue, sparkles, paint and plastic bits which are eggs. The eggs have sewing pins in them and are secured in the moss via glue.

The nest is about 1.5 to 2 inches big. I have another one which is only about 1 inch, but I will wait to see how the team likes this one.

I've been busy making aprons. So far, they are Halloween aprons, but I  am gathering vintage fabric to start making vintage-inspired ones as well!

I started making rat hammocks and I thought I would share with you because they are so much fun to make! I wanted to make really nice, plush hammocks that are a bit hard to find typically.

So far I am using lambskin fleece, flannelette and really soft cotton.
It has been a tribulation to try to make sure the ends dont fray and the husband came up with the great idea of melting the ends of the polyester bias tape to ensure they are wash friendly, which if you have rats you know is very important!
