11  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: knitscene's central park hoodie on: September 17, 2007 07:52:43 AM
Thanks for all the compliments, guys!
I love this sweater; it's seriously the perfect fall, kicking leaves through the park, kind of sweater.
12  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: Godzilla block prints on: September 16, 2007 04:57:51 PM
I bought cheap-o, ugly frames at the thrift and spraypainted them gold for my godzillas:

I'm finally posting pictures of mine.  And, fun with my camera's timer!

Please excuse my CRAZY eyes.  I have no idea what's going on there...

As a recap, I used knitpicks swish superwash in bright red.  I think I made the small?  I don't remember.  I didn't do buttons, but I'm thinking about adding some sort of cloak-ish closure.
I really love this sweater and am ever so glad it's fall-ish enough to wear again.

Yeah, boyeee  Cheesy

Look how done and awesome I am (especially b/c I finally figured out how to install the driver and make my laptop remember it can read SD cards) Wink

15  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Knitty.com Fall?? on: September 15, 2007 08:50:26 AM
My first response is kind of "meh", but I'm also tired and hungover and at work, so that might have something to do with it ;P
I'm also not a hat-wearer, and there are a bunch of hats.
It's hard to tell most of the sweaters from the pictures.  Neiman looks promising.
Except for Woodins!  I heart all of Anna's stuff, and I'm on this pattern like nobody's business.

I love all of your guys's!

I have a couple ideas in mind already, depending on who I get...

I just added myself!  Oh, and I can't wear earrings and need to change my avatar to something DH-related, I think.

I saw that necklace in Lucky too and have been completely coveting it.  You did a lovely job, and now I'm coveting yours too! Wink
20  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / very cheap, kinda small glow-in-the-dark plastic vampire teeth? on: September 04, 2007 12:37:47 PM

I've got 160 of them.  Ideally, they could be re-worked into a teen library craft program, or some sort of weird "Books and Bites" teen library promotion.
Any good crafty ideas?
