your colors are a-friggin'-mazing. seriously, I have the shakes real bad, and could never ever ever do anything like this to my (uh, black) sneaks. but....

mercedes benz logo or peace sign?

& smarmyclothes: I had to replace said black sneaks, and I went to that no-sweat place. thanks for telling us about it!

3  guess who made a bubble wrap purse, too?! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by theoffkeybandit on: January 16, 2006 08:30:09 AM
I made this a while back when I saw some bubble wrap lying pretty close to my fabric sack.
I just wanted to see if I could sew through the stuff, really.

I've never used it as an actual purse. It's a nice hat, though.

I saw how sweet everyone's tshirt-waisted-skirts were turning out, so I decided to try one myself.
it took me for freaking ever to get the waistband pinned on rightish....but eventually I did it.

5  have you ever seen a pattern that looks like this? in Clothing: Discussion and Questions by theoffkeybandit on: September 16, 2005 06:51:19 PM
homecoming is approaching, and quite frankly, I need a dress. I've searched all over, but can't find one in the style I've envisioned.....so, being a craftster, I plan on making it instead (even though I've never sewn a dress before....hah!). but I can't find any patterns similar to this stupid dress either! here's a picture I've just whipped up in paint to show you what I mean (the original drawing is, in fact, on paper...and our scanner is, in fact, broken at the moment.)

basically this in all black. if anyone wants to help me search for a pattern that would make a dress very close to this (without being too hard, because I'VE NEVER SEWN A DRESS BEFOOOOOOORE!!!), I'd be very thankful. alls I've got so far is a circle skirt+ tank top like...thing....my boobs aren't too big, so I was hoping I'd be able to just use a flat piece of fabric in front (xD).....

edit: AHAHA! I remember posting here (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=50712.0;topicseen) a while back....who thinks I'd be able to pull this off? (the straps need only be straight strips of fabric to criss-cross in the back, right?)
