I am getting ready to piece together my second sweater, and i am curious as to what you guys prefer.

should i block my pieces before sewing them together, or wait until after i have sewn it all up?

My Hard drive crashed and i lost all my patterns, including rogue and eris, i have contacted the creator, but i bought them over a year ago and she may not send them to me again.


i am right in the middle of rogue, and i have the yarn ready to start eris. can anyone help me out here.

Anyone seen the new Holiday 2006 Vogue?

i bought it today at my grocery store, i LOVE the cover scarf pattern, gorgeous and easy can't wait to knit it.

there is also some other very knittable items in the magazine, and an interesting article on color theory.

How many WIP's is too many?

i currently have

3 blankets (2 crochet 1 knit)
2 pairs of slippers
2 sweaters


people around me (co workers, my husband...) are always remarking about how i have so many things on the go..do i really have to much going...should i get rid of some?

Hi everyone, I don't know if this is the right place to put this, but my husband and I are planning to move to Edmonton Alberta, in September of this year,

I have never ever been to Alberta in my life, neither has he, and we currently live in Nova Scotia.

i am just posting this to get an idea of what to expect, we live in a small town here, no yarn shops, no pet stores, etc.

my husband is a fish keeper, and i interested in finding out what, if any stores that are around that he will have to spend his time in, and i a knitter/crafter and looking to find out what i can look forward to in terms of crafting/yarn shops.

can anyone help us out?
