one of the greatest things about japan is the array of kit kat flavours that there are!  just today i saw chestnut.  for my little cousins' christmas presents i am sending them every single flavour that i can find.

the yuckiest one that i ever had was apple....dunno know why it was so gross, but it was.

5  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: "My Country Doesn't Have That" Round 9 on: November 24, 2007 05:22:40 PM
ok.  well.  since purple one has already sent one package to octopus, i will officially claim her for anything japanese on her list that i can find.

 Wink

second claim, 0 sent, 0 received

here is my want list:

America:  vanity fair magazine....or any wonderful magazine in english, bust, bitch, venus etc.  also any knitting magazine in english.  they dont have to be new, some from a thrift store is perfectly fine with me!  and some reeses pieces.

Europe:  fashion mags, local yarn, wool, knitting materials, stationary, from England, tea, but not twinnings, because i can get that here, anything moomin, vintage knitting patterns

Australia/New Zealand:  magazines, again, dont have to be new, stationary, knitting patterns (vintage is always great), and knitting supplies, needles, local yarn blend...especially with all those sheep in NZ!  etc.

South America:  i have no idea what i would want from this region....suprise me!

Asia, outside of japan:  funky candy or snacks, wool, or local yarn, stationary or handmade paper

i wouldnt mind claiming her either.  especially since she really seems to dig on the japanese side of things.  which is very perfect for an american in japan.

however, i wanted to get lovelygangster's package out first.

7  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Chloe inspired neck warmer w/ pattern on: November 22, 2007 05:30:42 AM
what size kneedles did you use?  i am just about to begin, and the pattern didnt mention that! i am guessing 9 US.  is that true?

i plan to make about three of these for various christmas pressies!

hello!  my name is Faith and I am an American living in Japan.  I have been here for two years now, and love it, though do miss some things from the states (like clothing stores that have sizes over "medium")!

THis is my first claim: lovely gangster for sanrio goodies, kimono fabric, candy, origami paper, just cute things in general, craft magazines/patterns esp for felt plush things, kawaii stationary....as much of that stuff as I can get!  one quick question.....a bit rusty here in swap land...lovely gangster do i just pm you for your address?

and really anything that you think is very specific from where you are in the world!
