Here is my finished Ms. Marigold. I'm going to make two more one in black and another in green. Both with out the ruffles. This is such a quick and easy pattern.

Beautiful Job!!!

I just finished Ms. Marigold as well but I'm going to take the ruffles off. I think...I kind of like them though. I'll probably just make another one with out them.

6  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: Butterfly a-long (Rowan 37) on: June 12, 2006 08:42:59 PM
I've decided I really just have to make this. I'm ordering my book next week, but I can't afford the suggested yarn (esp. since I want to make the dress!). Any yarn suggestions? I read someone somewhere suggest Knitpicks' Alpaca Cloud; would I need to double strand that?

You could use lace weight but I think fingering weight is easier and ksh ( the rec. yarn)  is fingering weight.
7  CROCHET / Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller / Re: Green Knot Ugly Shrug on: June 12, 2006 08:28:28 AM
I love the color ! I'm working on the shrug myself but I'm kind of scared of the neck shaping...was that part hard? This is my first crochet project, so i'm wondering if I took to much of a plunge.
