22  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Tips for Participating in Craft Fairs / My first fair- HELP??? on: July 18, 2005 02:07:07 PM
Ive got my first craft fair in 2 months. Ive got plenty of stuff to sell and plenty of time to make more but I dont really know what to do, got loads of questions.

Firstly I make all kinds of things, mainly jewellry, cards and bath stuff but is it a good idea to sell such a broad range of stuff?
Secondly what should I do and shouldnt I do?
And thirdly have you ever had a stall in a fair and had absolutly no one buy anyhting from you- because im really worried this might happen to me.

I know there are already boards about this stuff I was just wondering if anybody knew of anything that I really shouldnt do or is a rreal nessecity or something.

Thanks alot, and sorry I got a bit... weird?

Is that a word? Well my problem is I am thinking of starting to sell my jewelry except I don;'t think anybody round here is prepared to pay enough even to cover the cost of the materials let alone leave me with a profit, so I was wondering if anybody has any tips for ddoing things more cheaply?

Thanks
25  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Handwashing on: July 10, 2005 09:05:50 AM
I know this isn't a craft but I also know that (flattery is always a good trick ) you are lovely lovely people and I'd be really gratful if someone could help me.

Problem is I bought a (gorgeous gorgeous limited edtion) wonderbra yesterday and didn't look at washing instructions and its hand wash only- so question is do you really think its nessecary to handwash it or will it be ok in the machine?
26  COOKING / Vegetarian / Vegan / Fave Vegan Recipes on: July 09, 2005 04:01:08 PM
I know there are hundreds of vegan recipe thread things on here (I have been searching through them) but I'm compiling a little list/book/thing for a group of non-veg friends who are convinced I have to eat cardboard so if anyone could post their 1 fave vegan recipe I'd be really greatful!
27  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Crimp tubes on: July 02, 2005 09:46:27 AM

What would you do?
29  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Hemming on: June 30, 2005 08:35:39 AM
Well- this question is going to show how dumb I am, but how do you hem circular things- I'm trying (not really suceeding) to make a circle skirt but I can't hem it right- it just looks all wrong.

Thanks- I know i'm a little bit stupid.  Smiley
