11  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Tips for Participating in Craft Fairs / Giving away chocolates on: August 29, 2005 02:31:09 PM
When I sell my things to people I like to give a good impression and I like to make sure customers feel like they are getting a bargin and have been treated well. So usually I put little handmade chocolates and things in with whatever I've sold (what an anti-climax) and I was going to do this at a craft fair and I wondered if I would actually be allowed because I'm pretty sure if your selling food or drink you need a licence or something so I was wondering if it was the same with just giving it away.

Thanks!
12  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / Painting Ceramics on: August 28, 2005 08:06:22 AM
I have some ceramic objects- plates/mugs/bowls mainly, and I was wondering if I needed to buy ceramic paints or if acrylics would work- I was thinking they might not stick to the surface properly and start to chip.

Thanks!

14  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Yellow skin on: August 11, 2005 11:27:58 AM
Ok, I just noticed today the my stomach (its nowhere else) is a really yellowy colour, and as you all seem to be so clever I thought I'd ask if anyone knew what this could be and what could be causing it?

Thanks!
15  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Egg replacer on: August 01, 2005 08:27:14 AM
Can you use egg replacement powder in cooking- because on the back of the box it says you can use it in sauce and baking but it doesnt say anything about cooking.

I wanted to ue it in lentil and chickpea burgers

Thanks

19  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Really thick wire on: July 24, 2005 12:02:17 PM
I'm not sure what gauge, but it was a present from someone- they were very sweet and knew that I loved making jewelry so decided to buy me some supplies but the wire they bought is really thick and I've never worked with thick wire before but I want to put it to use. So does anyone have any ideas about what I can do with it. Thanks
