1  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Jellyfish Aquarium Polymer Clay(video tutorial Link) on: July 10, 2014 10:33:27 AM
This is better than owning the real thing! You don't have to worry about feeding them, or having to clean the tank. These cute little guys also glow-in-the-dark.
This is a mixture of polymer clay and resin project. Since I've been playing around with resin, my creative juices have been really flowing. I LOVE how these two mediums complement each other very nicely. Naturally, polymer clay WILL cause resin to create bubbles. If you don't want the bubbles, you will need to light a small torch into your resin/mold to remove them Smiley
Feel free to experiment with different colors and shapes for your jellyfish!

2  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Easy Monster Night Light (tutorial link) on: July 03, 2014 12:53:06 PM
This cute little monster will keep you safe in the dark. The light from the clay is very soothing and not invasive at all. It also looks like a wonky dinosaur. It's ok to bake the piece of wood as long as your oven isn't an open flame oven, and that the wood is not treated.
You can also make Gir from invader Zim!

4  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Waterfall Koi Pond (video tutorial link) on: June 19, 2014 01:42:15 PM
There's something zen about koi ponds and waterfalls. I had so much fun making this piece. This is an easy tutorial that requires a bit of experience when it comes to resin so that you can make the waterfall effect.

Now YOU can steal Maleficent's wings. This ear cuff was inspired by the movie poster. It's coming out tomorrow and I'm really excited to see it. I love movies that show the antagonist's perspective.
The whole piece is made from polymer clay and the blue sheen is from mica pigments Smiley

Whether you're a Brony or not, this cute little pony cameo is too adorable to pass! If you're not a fan, it can be made into a unicorn, or any other pegasus-type horse. I loved the original series when it first came out, and this one is a pretty good remake too!
