11  'Rachel' Edging Tutorial in Crochet: Completed Projects by LilMissPink on: March 04, 2006 08:51:32 PM
I call this the Rachel Edging after my friend because I created this lace for the bikini she ordered.

^ Make a loop of 9 chains; CH 2.^

^ 6 DC in the loop; CH 4. ^

^ skip 2 stitches, 4 HDC ^

^ CH 4, skip 3 stitches. ^

^ CH 4, 6 DC in the loop ^

and from there, you simply continue the last few rows.

I hope I explained this well enough  Cheesy Enjoy.

P.S. You can see what it looks like when complete here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=82691.0

12  Sneak Peek- Bikinis (IMG heavy) 2 new in Crochet: Completed Projects by LilMissPink on: March 02, 2006 12:45:50 PM
All of these are custom orders made in Lion Brand Microspun.

'Fuchsia' The top of the bikini with charms across the front. This was fun to design.  Smiley

The bottoms.

Another view of the top. I decided to make the 'triangles' pentagons instead for more coverage and also to create a nice, original styling with the charms. The straps that are to be tied behind the back make a triangle at the side as you can see here, which also helps to keep the top tight at the sides.

'Turquoise' and 'Buttercup' The colors are washed out a lot. This has been the most challenging bikini for me only because I kept redoing the stripe pattern. These bottoms aren't complete, I still need to do the band. The top is in the making aswell.

'Lilac' This was pretty quick. I made this yesterday/today. There is a button on one of the sides. The lace pattern is original.

I made a tutorial for this stitch here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=83077.0

Closeup of the lace pattern. I worked vertically until the lace was as long as I needed it to be and then I started working down the side of it.

Completed pictures to come as soon as I can get them.  Smiley

Update: I finished everything else! Pretty self-explanatory.

13  Re: HELP WITH SHIRT!! in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by LilMissPink on: December 25, 2005 06:10:18 PM
I *love* the pink and grey combination. I think you could use the picture for the center back, and then add a strip of grey below it so that the seams of the front and back are even. If you're having trouble with the outer shape of it, you can always trace a fitted shirt onto it and take in the seams as necessary.

To add a picture you do the tag at the top when you post...

Ooh, Christmas smilies  Cheesy

I made this top recently, and I absolutely can't wait until I can wear it. I still have a few more touches to make but here it is:

Thank you all for the great comments. My pattern can be found under Crochet- Completed Projects.

15  WHO WANTS TO SEE MY POCKET??? in Get Product and Website Opinions by LilMissPink on: August 17, 2005 05:55:35 PM
This was just an experiment, but I think I like how it came out. I think I might try to sell it if I don't like how it looks for me (it's just the green of it, I don't really like). If I added another (different design but same colors) pocket and an edging on the hem of the legs (it's cut to a few inches above the knee) how much do you think it would sell for? Thanks for looking.
